When J.J. Redick came to practice this afternoon, Pappy Knuckles gave him the news that he had been waived from the team. Although rumors of this being possible had been spreading recently, Redick was shocked that he was no longer a Knick. Since no decent offers were made for his services, Knuckles decided that it was best to cut their losses and let him go.
